is a list of hotels and hostels near to the
conference venue. The list is not exhaustive and obviously there are
many more
hotels in Budapest. Please bear in mind if you are looking for a hotel
yourself, that the conference is situated on the Pest side of the city.
The
hotels listed are not endorsed by the conference organisers and we have
no
personal experience of any of them.
The
prices given are just an indication, based on the cheapest price per
head per night advertised on the websites for the period of the
conference.
Both hotels and hostels may charge different rates depending on what
kind of
room you want. You may be able to get special deals from booking
companies or
from the hotel itself. You are advised to check for room availability
and price
before booking. Some of the places are small and so tend to get booked
up
quickly. We checked for room availability when we compiled the list,
but this
may have changed in the meantime.
The
codes next to the hotel names give some indication of the distance
of the accommodation from the conference venue: ‘W’ means within 10
minutes
walk and ‘PT N’ meant approximately N minutes by public transport.
