Graduate and Undergraduate Student Poster Presentation Day
23 February, 2010


We kindly invite you to the 2nd Graduate and Undergraduate Student Poster Presentation Day, where some of the best students at SEAS will showcase their projects.

Date: 23 February 2010 (posters will be on
display until 26 February)
Time: posters on display from 9:00
awards presented at 14:00
Venue: 3rd floor ‘Zsibongó’

Come and participate in this exciting event and vote for the best poster!

Students who fill in a voting slip between 9:00-13:45 are eligible for the Surprise Draw.

UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENT
POSTER PRESENTATION DAY
AT SEAS
23 February 2010


What is it all about?

Participants will have the opportunity to share their own thoughts and discover those of other students about issues related to English and American studies. Projects will be demonstrated in the form of POSTER PRESENTATIONS.

Why is it worth applying?

The best poster presentations in each topic area will receive PRIZES, including:
BOOKS (courtesy of Pearson Education);
BOOK COUPONS (courtesy of SZHÉK); and
free IATEFL-HUNGARY MEMBERSHIPS exclusively for PHD students!

Additionally, one presenter will receive the AUDIENCE PRIZE!

The participants with the best poster presentations will have the opportunity to PRESENT THEIR PROJECTS ORALLY in the afternoon session.

I’d like to give a presentation − how do I apply?

All BA, MA and PhD students are encouraged to apply.

Please send the following information via email:

(1) the TITLE of your poster presentation;
(2) a 200-word SUMMARY of your poster presentation;
(3) your NAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS;
(4) TOPIC area (Literature, Culture, History, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics);
and
(5) LEVEL (BA, MA, PhD)
(6) BA and MA students should also include the name of an instructor at SEAS who has agreed to support their application.

The email should be sent to one of the ORGANIZERS:
