Ancsur, if you get a response, could you put it up here? Thanks! I'd be interested in knowing too :D

You may wish to ask Bukta Gáborné.

I still do not understand things.

1) If I take the SZD and ZV courses in my index this semester, but fail to write the thesis in time, what happens?

2) If I take the SZD and ZV courses in my index this semester, but fail to pass the language exam (which is very likely) what happens?

3) If I do not take the SZD and ZV courses in my index this semester, but do write the thesis and get the lang.exam, what happens?

And also: what to do in these cases?

Thank you in advance

If you have no courses to take (ANN-SZD and ANN-ZV are not courses in this respect), you do not have to register.

I think the question was that does the missing lang.exam postpone the thesis handing in and the final exam, or we can do it in time, just we wont get the paper?

Yes something like that. For example my situation is that next semester I should finish all my courses (i.e. English major and non-major obligations) but I won't have my lang. exam or my thesis done (not unless some miracle occurs). Does this mean I won't get the final certificate (because I don't have the lang. exam) and that once I get the lang. exam I'll need to re-enrol for another semester or will I have to mosey on in to the TO once I have the lang. exam and ask them to give me the final certificate.

Convoluted questioning I know. Sorry

You do not need to register to take the two codes ANN-SZD and ANN-ZV (or AN-500 and AN-501 in the old lingo). In fact, you cannot register once you have your absolutorium.

Sorry that I'm being thick but after reading the info at seas I don't seem to understand something.

The final certificate I get once I've done all the obligations of the English major MA except hand in the thesis and sit the final exam. correct?

Also, if I can't get the foreign language certificate within the 8 terms (which I can't it being my last term next term) does that mean that I need to register with the TO in the following semester (2006/2007 year 1st term) in order to receive the final certificate even if I've completed every other obligation?

I always thought that you couldn't get your degree until getting the language certificate and not that you couldn't sit your final exam without the language certificate.

I'm far too :?. This is way unhealthy 8)

Thanks!
