Are there usually only this many (i.e. 3) philosophy courses announced? Or shouldn't I write VFN in as a search term? *frown*

Thx. I admit that it was my fault, I should have spent more time with looking for some description (However, the story ended well as I found an empty place on a relevant course.). Still I believe, that it is wrong that ETR visually suggests something that most probably happens otherwise.

If there was no credit value don't include it.
AKN students don't take any pedagogy courses. All they have to do is sitting the methodology (topic 91) exam at their final examination.

I'm currently trying to make these subjects accepted on the bases of my previous studies but I'm a bit confused and so far no answer came from TO. It's OK that I shall write the course title (at college they were simple like "Philosophy" but here...) -- so if I apply to any of the courses in ETR named under "philosophy" whatsoever, and hand in the tanegységbefogadási kérelem with the detailed course description it should be OK, right? I was in the non-credit system at college so I don't know the credit value of the subjects either...

Do I also have to go through the pedagogy and other teaching-related subjects as well or are they automatically accepted? And what abozt PE? Can I also have it accepted? I did 4 semesters at college and now don't really have time to do it again, besides work and considering I live 350 km far from BP and come to uni for two days a week...

Just reinforce me please that I'm doin it right ;)

Thanks a bunch, and besides, Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Nice. :x So I was the dumb one... Anyway, I tried to look for some description of the sys of reg. for the PE courses, but there weren't any (or at least there were no practical hints anywhere on ETR). Thx anyway for yours. :)

What probably happened is that at the time the list closed (4 p.m. on Thursday), there were more students with 1 point than the maximum number. This happens often with P.E: courses, since the only thing you can get points for is having more than one major. If there are 13 students with 1 point for 12 places for example, ETR throws everybody off the list and you have to do "versenyjelentkezés".

Something strange happened to me today... I wanted to apply to a tennis course, and I did so in ETR where I was constantly among those, who should be admitted (pre-'rangsorolás'). Now what happened was that I was rejected from all of the courses, but not as I should have been, but everybody was rejected instead (the ETR said: 'a kurzusra bekerült hallgatók száma: 0'). I guess that the 'remaining' places were sold by 'versenyjelentekzés', but this is more than unfair, as the courses used to be 'rangsorolásos'. How come such things can happen???

I heard of "helyesírás" which is a lecture but you can write a mini test before each class and get your mark from these. Not the most dif. exam if you know what I mean...
