I don't know what books are required for this specific term's exams, but the Fromkin-Rodman Intro to Linguistics is a fairly good one, and it used to be the set text for previous terms (and it has quite cute cartoons! :D ). I believe it's available in the library or the printer's office if it's still part of the set reading.

Hi, as far as my memories concerned, mr lázár gave a handout on the very first lecture considering the course outline and the required readings. From different general (not specified on syntax or phono)linguistics books, i suppose so. but that was long a go.....;) We only studied from previous tests. good luck!

Hi,

Is there anyone out there who could tell me what books to prepare for Mr Lázár's 'UV' from? Unfortunately, this year's exam wasn't at all what we had been led to expect by the sample test and by last semester's end-term test.

I'd truly appreciate some help.

Thank you.
