I know I'm problematic with exam dates but I realized I need the other exam dates as well since they seem to be organised such early in December etc. If they cannot appear in etr soon, where could we get them? ( I don't want to disturb anybody with asking for dates all the time...)

Ask the examiner. (Exam dates can be set any time within the exam period.)

Thank you, meanwhile Ms. Hanzséros also answered. Anyway, why are exams now at such early dates?

Apparently, the written part of the ANN-299 exam is on 19 December.

Thank you very much, I sent her a mail. Really, the dates should have been posted yet?:-) I thought it was just some people who would need dates such early in the semester...

The date is available, it's just that ETR is not yet ready to accept the data (although the deadline was 7 Oct!). You may want to ask Hanzseros Mari at hanzseros@ludens.elte.hu

Does anyone know when the ANN- 299 written exam will be? (I've heard it is usually at the beginning of January) It'd be important because at my other major we are now agreeing on the date of an exam at the first week in January. Thanks in advance.

clarika: Well, consider yourself lucky
I will cross my fingers for you. You should definitely NOT fail...

By the way I am now back from the US, so korinna@w-mobil.hu is again available. Please do contact me if you need a partner for the oral part. I am quite experienced by now :D :D :D

Oh, gees, thanx, I'm ok by now, I wrote to my former partner (who by accident couldn't come to the exam - that is why I had to have another partner) so we'll retake the exam together in January. It'll be fun. Now, that I have the experience (though the real work was to manage to retake the exam...), I hope to be better in the written part, too (though that wasn't bad, still it wasn't maximum points  ).

I would be really interested in that "long story"... how can they treat a native speaker badly in an oral exam?????

it was my fault. i had a very agressive and intolerant partner who didn't let me say a word (ok, i could say two times 3 sentences), and I wasn't agressive enough to cut in. also, when i finally got a word to say, i was to angry with my partner to say anything. stupid, isn't it.

I don't know. I'm a native speaker but I didn't have any problems at the oral. Now the fact that they didn't like my letter in the written part is a completely different story.
