Dear szigetva!

Quote:
You can fail an exam 3 times (KTVSz 19). After the fourth trial you must get permission from the Dean to retry. Failing the fifth trial ends you career.

You can register for a course three times (KTVSz 18 ). I don't see the relevance of the "including fails" part: why else would you want to register again?

The same apply to comprehensive examinations (szigorlat).

I wonder if it also applies to "Nyelvi szigorlat", more precisely 299. I have just failed my second try, and a friend of mine the third. I wonder how many chances do we have left... :x

I have just found out, that my intermediate state level exam would be enough to get the 100% of the points on the "emelt szintű érettségi" (ie. this year they cound lang.exams as érettségi), fortunately this is only for 1 year, but 11th graders and below can already get their English érettségi with that... That, I find a bit weird...

or, you can take an entrance exam, get your credits across to the new index and there you are! People in the Faculty of Natural Sciences (TTK) do this quite often.

Note that there are no entrance examinations any more. I don't know how it will work, really.

(the authentic version of the Faculty page is gone)

A new question, since many people do not really know this:

how many times can you fail an exam
how many times can you register for a course (including failings)

the same questions about 'szigorlat'

thank you

I doubt. Student power has achieved that we must give a session of each examination on the last week. With so many exams in so little time such clashes are unavoidable. Don't fail both.

The UV of Magyarics Tamás - US History
and
The UV of Lojkó Miklós - History of England 2

are exactly on the same day (Febr02), same time (begins at 8h and 9h). Can't it be changed in a way to be able to attend both?
