You can certainly find out. I know SEAS did not. I guess the Faculty was paying them some recompensation, and stopped doing so.

Is it possible to know who made this decision? And anyway, which organizational unit of ELTE does the printer's office belong to? I guess it is not a part of SEAS.

Thank you. Is there anything we, the students can do? I mean, was it that expensive to maintain those two people and the photocopy machine? How about a big box in which people can drop money into?

Yes, apparently. Teachers were told to take their stuff away. Some add that this may not be final. DELG secretary, Hanzseros Mari, is negotiating with the copy shop at the Stefania stop of the number 7 bus that they accept input from SEAS teachers in the same way. We will let you know once we know reliable news.

Is it true? Is it a lie? My friends report that people are either being sent away or banging their heads into closed doors when the Printer's office should be open. I'm hearing that it closed permanently because its funding stopped. But what's the truth? I did see the doors closed, but that may not mean anything. Does anyone know if it did close? And more importantly, if it did, what can we do about it? The Printer's Office is one of the most frequently used institutions of the SEAS, selling hundreds of material every semester. From now on, will we be photocopying the hundreds of pages of books like Transformational Grammar ourselves, page by page? Oh, the horror...
