Hey everyone,

does someone know when we have to start preregistering for autumn 2006 courses? (I know that instead of ETR, we can keep on using our old system which is so great:))))

I would have no problem with a working system, but it is very annoying to wait there for nothing. I know it is the fault of the lecturer who doesn't provide a true answer for a simple yes/no question (:)) and not of szp who tries to make our life easier with this site, but it seems that the system doesn't work.:(

This whole phenomenon of lectures being "optional" on the first week is a bit strange. I mean, it would be much more straightforward if either all or none of the lectures were held in the first week.

I'm not quite sure that the page was advertised this semester also. I had to spend at least two minutes on finding the address...:)
By the way, no matter how good idea the list is, it does not always work - unfortunately there are lecturers who promise to get there but, somehow, can't manage to do so. :(

Thank you!

BTW, where was this link advertised/announced? So far I have always got to know everything from SZP's emails, but I don't remember ever getting this link... Maybe I deleted it by mistake :)
There is a link under another thread to a page that has answers to which teachers will be or won't be holding lectures.
Could you tell me where I can find that link? Thx!

Your questions have been answered numerous times already. Yes there will be classes next week. Not all lectures will be held though. There is a link under another thread to a page that has answers to which teachers will be or won't be holding lectures. From what I remember though most of the linguistics lectures will not be held, though syntax1 was an exception. Don't remember the others.

OK, we preregister, so what do we do next? Will there be classes next week (Feb 6-10)? Last term it was a little confusing, because we had to go to some lectures which were supposed to be held but the teachers never showed up... Is there a list of the classes that are not held on the registration week this year too?

Sorry. This category must be a new thing, I haven't heard of it before. I hear so many rumours these days. I knew it had been like that before, I just thought it might have changed. Next time I'll try to READ first
