Check out the course catalogue, all the data you need are there.

As you might have noticed, the preregistration lists are available again. The length of lists is indicative of your chances of getting on them, but categories and preference values are also important in assessing your chances.

The lists were misleading to many, making students think that all those guys will be in there. I was thinking of some algorithm for calculating course saturation, but it seemed too complicated (compared to the time I had for its implementation). A list with names may also clash with privacy regulations (cf. the similar discussions on the relevant ETR forums). There's still hope of me doing something though. What goes against it is the fact that this may well be the last preregistration run on seas3. 8)

I wonder which set you are thinking of. There are 14 seminars in the 322 domain, and 32 in the 312 domain (which might qualify as English studies).

Anyway, having one or two credits more is certainly no problem. I seem to recall that you can have 10% extra credits (that's 14 credits for an ANN student, even more if we include their other major or the general stuff), so no need to panic.

>Isn't this the thing called "szakos túlfutás"? What its consequenses are, I have no idea.

?? I assume some leeway is allowed.
I.e. I have 21 credits from the 300s but as I've already taken the max.12 credits as lectures that leaves only seminars. As there are 0 seminars (in the English studies specialisation at least) with 3 credits that means that I have to take up 2 x2 credit seminars i.e. having 25 credits at the end of it.

Tried something with the ETR forum who knows what will happen. Hopefully we'll find out about the other courses soon.

Perhaps BTK staff reads forums... Perhaps the Registrar can enforce the rules of the university... Perhaps something will happen if students complain...

we'll try our best

Start complaining in the relevant ETR forums now. Perhaps something will happen.
