Hey people!

I suppose it's mostly Hungarians (interested in Erasmus scholarships) who browse the topic, but thinking of those foreign students who might happen upon the forum, I got this new one going. So, this first message is primarily for them; but who knows, maybe it'll be useful for others as well:

If you're new in Budapest but riding on a 50 seater sightseeing bus is not your idea of exploring the city, go 'Club Crawl'-ing! (Yes, it's a telling name :)) This is an irregular way to get to know some of the city's history, architecture and the usual stuff: the main idea is to have a great time out w/young people like yourself while you learn about things and are taken to places (not excluding pubs and clubs!) you probably won't find in an average guide book. The tours are at night, several times a week, and either a couple of free drinks or a discount at certain pubs are included.

And post other ideas+comments which might be helpful for foreign students, or if you're one of them: your experience!

Best,
Lara
