That's nice as the ETR still doesn't allow me to submit for my courses....

Here's the newest from the ETR's official faculty bulletin:

Quote:
Tisztelt Hallgatók!

Tárgyfelvételre az ETR-ben 2005. február 28-ig van lehetőségük. 2005. március 1-től újabb tanegységeket már nem tudnak felvenni.
A leckekönyv leadási határideje: 2005. március 3. 16 óra.

Bízunk benne, hogy a tárgyfelvétel káosza a jövőben nem ismétlődik meg.
Köszönjük türelmüket, mert a rendszer beindítását csak Önökkel együttmüködve tudjuk megoldani.

In short: Registration for courses on ETR ends on the 28th of February, you can no longer register for courses after this date. Deadline of submitting your markbooks is the 3rd of March (Thursday!!), 4 P.M.

Also, they thank us for our patience :)

Yipp, I thought the same, I only thought they might have a better-sounding excuse

Ancsur, I think it's pretty obvious why the date has changed ... I guess the ETR staff haven't had enough time to get it ready for the 16th.

The dates have changed: from 18 February...

I might be mistaken, but as far as I see, the Hungarian posting by the TO says that courses should be registered in the ETR *from* (not by) the 16th of Feb, and it can be done until the markbooks are to be submitted. (See also http://www.btk.elte.hu/to/aktualis.htm) Csirmaz Elod

I was afraid of that. I don't know how you can access it, but anyway what I write is an English summary of what there is, and the source only serves to authenticate it. Drop a message if you find it, and I'll change the link.

It seems that no one can view that information you have posted that is not registered to the TO site of the ETR, which probably most students are not. Do you perhaps have a link to any other source where this text can be found? It does not seem appear on the normal ETR board...

For all BTK (Fac of Arts) courses you have to register in the traditional way (for SEAS courses you have to preregister as well, but you know this anyway). However, you have to register all the courses you were accepted to as well as lecture and exam courses in the ETR from 16 to 25 February By then you will have to have submitted your markbook to the Registrar.

For other courses, e.g., those of PPK, TTK, IK etc., you have to register through the ETR.
