Hello, I'm a newbie here and I find the idea of this board so great - but wouldn't it be a good idea to have an off-topic board where students could meet and discuss anything they want, anything that would not fit in the other boards? Just a sugesstion :)

Greetings,

Timea

Thanks for the idea. I put an invitation in the exam warning message sent out every midnight, in the exam registration receipt message and on cgi-generated pages. We'll see the effects in a few days' time.

Although the forum is getting more popular and this isn't really a 'computer-oriented' faculty () I think it would be a good idea to send out a new newsletter (this sentence is getting better with every phrase :) ) to everyone, that the forum is up and running, new topics are open and actually some people even read (and answer to) the new posts...

Would it be possible to open a topic for supplementary students who were not students of ELTE before, so who don't really feel comfortable? The reason is that we don't really know anyone here and in some questions we are in disadvantage. It would help us a lot if we found each other and could give some tips for each other.
Thx,

Eszterke

It was not our decision, at least not deliberate. The feature autopruning was accidentally set on in that forum and it killed postings after seven days of no replies. Sorry for that, please repost if still relevant. I set autopruning off.

Dear Moderator(s),

our announcements on Amnesty International ADS group have disappeared. I guess it was your decision. Could you please tell us why you did it?
thanks in advance
