The aim of this course is to familiarize students with various salient topics in applied linguistics. Students will complete weekly readings on various issues in applied linguistics, will give presentations on the readings, will build a glossary of applied linguistics, and will do hands-on tasks. The list of readings shall be provided at the beginning of the course.
requirements & assessment
Students attending this course will be asked to provide feedback on articles, be active members of the class, write a test of applied linguistics terms, and complete all in-class and home assignments.
