The aim of this course is to further develop studentsí overall language proficiency. There will be some focus on all four skills and students will be expected to express their views with clarity and accuracy. Although there is no set course book, Advanced Language Practice is recommended for self-study and students will be expected to study from any course book at Proficiency level in order to improve their command of the language. Particular problem areas of language will be dealt with as and when required and specific practice materials will be provided and activities conducted in class to prepare for both the written and oral components of the BBN-ANG-001 Language Proficiency Exam.

Evaluation and final grades will be based on 1) attendance 2) preparation for and participation in all class activities 3) language skills 4) tests 5) written assignments.
